Semester Long Project:
Self-Assigned
For this assignment you will be required to create a
photographic project of your own choosing on a Single Theme. You will be
working on this assignment throughout the duration of the semester. This should
be a thoughtful investigation/exploration of something important to you or that
you are interested in. Your
photographic project will include 15 final images and will be turned into a
book using blurb on-demand printing.
Time Line Due Dates:
September 25, 2012:
project proposal
This
proposal should be about a paragraph long and no longer than one page
You
should address: a. the subject matter/topic you are
interested in exploring
b. why you are interested in the topic
c. ideas of how you plan to
visualize/investigate these
ideas
photographically
October 16, 2012:
4 digital files (in-progress photographs)
Upload
these images to the class blog.
November 20, 2012:
Order your on-demand blurb book (allowing 2 weeks for printing and delivery)
December 4, 2012:
Your Final Project is due

Bring your 15 photographs in on a flash to turn
into me and to project during your
critique. The files should be jpegs saved
for screen resolution

Bring in your book.

in your book)
